About NameMyGroup

NameMyGroup started with a simple question: four couples were heading to Ireland together and realized they didn't have a name for their group. A quick search turned up long lists, but nothing made for their group.

So we built a better tool. Tell us who's in your group, how many of you there are, the occasion and the vibe, and NameMyGroup suggests names that fit. Heart the ones you like, then share your shortlist with the group.

How the names are made

Every topic page starts with names we write and curate by hand. The generator then mixes those with fresh combinations built from words that fit your occasion, so every batch is different. It all runs in your browser: there's no sign-up, and nothing you type is sent to us.

Free to use

NameMyGroup is free. In the future we may show advertising to keep it that way; if we do, our privacy policy will say so first.
