NameMyGroup is built to need as little information about you as possible. This page explains what is and isn't collected.
What we don't collect
You don't need an account to use NameMyGroup. What you type into the generator (group type, size, occasion, family name) stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
Your shortlist
Names you heart are saved in your own browser's local storage so they're still there when you come back. They aren't sent to us. You can remove them any time with "Clear shortlist" or by clearing your browser's site data.
Visitor statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites and doesn't collect personal information. Our site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Fonts
Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts download. See Google's privacy policy for details.
Advertising
We don't currently show ads. If we add advertising in the future, advertising partners such as Google may use cookies to show ads, and we will update this page before that happens.
Children
NameMyGroup is intended for a general audience and doesn't knowingly collect information from children.
